Zenith Electronics Corp. announced that it will sponsor exclusively the 1997 Blues Music Festival. This move makes the TV giant the first title sponsor in the festival's eight-year history. The show will stop in most major markets and will include appearances by the following: B.B. King, The Robert Cray Band, Tower of Power, Jimmie Vaughn, Jay Geils and Magic Dick Bluestime, as well as 16-year-old prodigy Jonny Lang. (BB)
